Ferncliff Cemetery Association is a non-sectarian cemetery located in Westchester County, New York, serving families throughout greater New York with dignity and respect. The company was organized as a membership corporation on February 26, 1902. Renowned for beauty and serenity, the corporation is a non-sectarian, not for profit cemetery specializing in customized interment options that meet the preferences and budget of the people it serves.(Click here to see our video) Ferncliff’s cemetery grounds have been substantially dedicated to grave space, which has been sold to members for in- ground burials.  The company has also offered underground lawn crypts, landscaped family plots, and a cremation urn garden over the past century. The company constructed
its first mausoleum in 1928, the Ferncliff Mausoleum
(a.k.a. the Cathedral of Memories) which has been expanded
over the years as space needs increased to the current size of eleven
units.  The mausoleum was designed by one of America’s foremost
architects, and constructed under the supervision of James Baird, builder
of such immortal monuments as the Lincoln Memorial and the Tomb of the
Unknown Soldier. Besides its beautiful appointments, the Ferncliff
Mausoleum was designed to provide the basic year-round comforts
of modern heating, lighting, and ventilation systems. As always, we invite you to visit us and to inquire about interment options, including burial lots, mausoleum crypts, lawn crypts, niches, cremation, and memorialization options. Please ask us about pre-need planning on your choice of interment and memorialization. |
